We made it to 100%
Highlights100% Funded with 2 Days to Go!I can hardly believe I'm writing these words... Because of you, Rescue the Children is now 100% funded—with two days still to go, and more creative content coming! My heart is overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to every person who has pledged, shared this campaign, prayed for this mission, and encouraged me along the way. You made this milestone possible, and I am deeply grateful. When I began writing Rescue the Children, my prayer wasn't simply to publish another book. It was to help families understand the growing dangers of online sexual exploitation and equip them with practical tools to protect children before they become victims. Reaching 100% of our goal isn't the finish line—it's the beginning. Every pledge during these final two days will help us expand the impact of this mission by creating videos and educational resources that inspire and equip parents, grandparents, churches, schools, pregnancy resource centers, and communities to recognize the warning signs of online sexual exploitation, help rescue and restore victims, and respond with wisdom, compassion, and practical action. Our first stretch goal is especially close to my heart: creating a children's book called The Web Dogs, that helps kids become Digital Defenders. Through an adventurous story and fun activities, children will learn how to recognize online dangers, make wise choices, and help protect themselves and their friends from online exploitation. The Web Dog: Becoming a Digital Defender is an empowering children’s book designed to help kids navigate the online world with confidence, wisdom, and courage. When Alex enters a magical digital adventure with Webster the Web Dog, they discover that the internet is like a vast forest filled with exciting places to explore, but smart explorers need to know how to recognize safe paths and make wise choices. Along the way, Alex learns the Five Paws of a Web Dog: 🐾 Pause — Stop and think before clicking, sharing, or responding. Through imaginative storytelling and interactive activities, children learn important lessons about online safety, respectful communication, personal boundaries, and the importance of seeking help when they need it. More than a book about avoiding danger, The Web Dog is a story about empowerment. It teaches children that they are not powerless in the digital world. They can be thoughtful, brave, and responsible digital citizens who help make the online world a safer place for themselves and others. The Web Dog “equips children with confidence, wisdom, and courage.” It gives them a language they can remember: “I can be a Web Dog.” My prayer is that this book will open meaningful conversations between children, parents, grandparents, teachers, and caregivers before a child is ever harmed. Together, we can place this message into more hands, reach more families, and help protect more children. If you signed up before launch but haven't yet had an opportunity to pledge, there's still time. Every gift—large or small—helps extend the reach of this mission and brings hope to more children and families. As I often say, every child is made in the image of God and has immeasurable worth. Every child deserves to be safe, protected, and loved. Thank you for believing in this mission and for standing with me as we work together to Recognize. Rescue. Restore. Respond.
