Some stories stay with you. Some promises change lives.

Today, November 2, Rescue the Children: How to End Online Sexual Exploitation and Child Trafficking is officially launching!

In 2015, I traveled to the Philippines and met little girls who had been rescued from online sexual exploitation and child trafficking. Some were just two years old.

I can still picture their tiny feet, their little flip-flops lined up outside, and the faces of children who had already experienced things no child should ever endure.

I came home carrying their stories in my heart.

And I made them a promise.

I would do everything I could to make their voices heard so that what happened to them would not happen to another child.

Today, that promise becomes a book.

Survivor stories of online exploitation in the United States are included too.

But this book is about so much more than telling heartbreaking stories. It’s about protecting the children sitting in our homes, classrooms, churches, and communities right now.

It’s about helping parents recognize the warning signs, understanding how predators groom children, and equipping ordinary adults to know what to do.

Because the danger isn’t always somewhere far away. Sometimes it’s right there, inside a child’s phone.

I didn’t write this book to leave you afraid. I wrote it to help make you aware, informed, and equipped.

Happenings

Today I'm asking you to do two things:

1. PURCHASE THE BOOK.

Buy a copy for yourself. Give one to your adult children, a parent, a grandparent, a teacher, or someone who works with children.

2. SHARE THE BOOK.

Please share this newsletter, my website, and the book with your friends, family, churches, schools, and communities.

You may never know whose child will be protected because you shared this message.

I cannot go back and change what happened to the children whose stories I was entrusted with. But together, we can help change what happens to the children who come after them.

To every survivor who trusted me with their story: I have not forgotten you. This book is for you, too.

And to everyone who has prayed, encouraged me, supported the Kickstarter, shared my story, or helped bring this book to life, THANK YOU. You are part of this promise.

Let’s make their voices heard. Let’s equip the adults. Let’s protect the children.
